A nearly four-year battle with cancer led to the death of veteran actress Markie Post at the age of 70. The dead news was informed of the information by her manager, Ellen Lubin Sanitsky.
The Fall Guy, in which she starred from 1982 to 1985, and Night Court, in which she served as a cast member for six seasons from 1984 to 1992, made Post a household name.
Her family paid homage to Post’s personality outside of her career in a statement published by the publication.
In addition to her performer accomplishments, Nicoletta sewed curtains for first apartments, baked elaborate cakes for friends, and modeled kindness, love, and forgiveness for us.
Michael A. Ross, her husband, survived her. Her daughters are actresses Kate Armstrong Ross and Daisy Schoenborn.
And, her five-month-old granddaughter and her son-in-law Bryce Schoenborn also survive.
