Rainfall combined with hot weather increases the risk of various diseases in the rainy season. Especially at this time, children suffer more from colds and coughs to skin diseases and even pneumonia in children. 

Pneumonia is a widespread cause of mortality in youngsters. Pneumonia is a pulmonary infection, often known as a respiratory system infection in English. This inflammation is caused when the disease becomes bacterial or infectious; Then, it is called pneumonia.

It can be mild or severe. Bacteria, viruses, and fungi cause it. Pneumonia is characterized by fever, cough, fatigue, and chest pain.

Kids under the age of five are more likely to get pneumonia. Again, vaccination can be used to avoid some kinds of pneumonia. However, again in some cases, this flu-like infection becomes fatal.

Symptoms of pneumonia include fever and fatigue, excessive sweating and coughing, shortness of breath, chest pain and body tremors, headache and body aches, loss of appetite, and nausea.

What to do to save a child from pneumonia in the rainy season-

>> The baby can not be allowed to get wet in the rain.

>> Use light hot water while bathing.

>> Keep the child away from other children with pneumonia.

>> Always keep the baby clean. As well as wearing clean clothes.

>> When you return from outdoors, clean your hands & face thoroughly with soap.

>> Baby diapers should be changed frequently.

>> Take care that the baby does not feel extra cold or hot.

>> Do not feed the baby cold water or ice cream.

>> The infant should be kept in a ventilated environment at all times.

>> There are some vaccines for pneumonia. But, first, they have to be paid on time. Then, as a result, bacterial or viral pneumonia can be prevented.

If the child’s condition worsens, a doctor must be consulted because a bit of carelessness can endanger a child’s life.
